As our Brand Manager you will support the Director, Brand Management in developing and executing strategies that drive sustainable brand growth while delivering the financial forecast, growing our mission to Kick Sugar, Keep Candy! This position offers a fantastic opportunity to work with a world-class team in an exciting consumer space. We are looking for a candidate who can hit the ground running, demonstrate elevated levels of responsibility, ownership, and desire to develop within the exciting and demanding world of CPG. This role reports to the Director, Brand Management and will be hybrid in Vancouver, BC or remote in Toronto, ON.
We anticipate this role will begin on May 19th, 2025, and continue through to July 3rd, 2026.

How You Will Support Our Mission (Responsibilities):
Partner with the Director, Brand Management to create a 3-year brand plan and create strategies that drive sustainable brand growth while delivering the financial forecast.
Lead execution of brand building, innovation, and business model ideas to deliver financial and volume targets in collaboration with the cross-functional teams.
Collaborate with experts across 4Ps to assess and evaluate solutions, orchestrate annual plan, and ensure execution across 4Ps is consistent with brand foundation.
Own category, competitive and customer tracking and analysis, bringing insights back to react against and inform brand strategy and tactics.
Support commercialization of product initiatives that deliver the annual brand plan.
Take a general manager view of the business. You passionately track revenue, in-market performance and profit, understanding drivers. You proactively identify ways to improve company financial performance in both the short and long term and enable yourself and others to seize opportunities.
Use data and a deep understanding of the consumer to develop growth ideas and initial recommendations on all strategies across the 4Ps.
Serve as consultant and collaborator to the Marketing Communications team as they build out brand experiences.
Partner with Sales to create compelling stories to profitably win with key customers.
What You Bring (Qualifications & Experience):
Bachelor’s degree and 5+ years of work/internship experience.
3+ years of CPG Brand Management experience.
Strong analytic ability to translate data into meaningful insights and action, including proficiency working with SPINS/Numerator or other large data sources.
Empathy and curiosity to develop a deep understanding of the consumer and customers.
Understand P&L mechanics and how to impact topline and bottom-line drivers.
Ability to determine how to use 4Ps to achieve brand strategy and goals.
Proven success in collaborating with Sales to drive growth with customers.
Ability to influence and inspire the cross-functional team.
Strong written and oral communication skills.
Ability to move with agility in a startup environment and a bias for action.
Compensation and Sweet Perks (Benefits): The approximate base salary range for this position is $85,000 - $105,000 CAD. The actual base salary will be based on various factors, including the candidate’s level of skills, experience and education aligned with the needs of the role, budget and market. This position is eligible for participation in a bonus program based on performance and company results. Please note, individuals must be employed by 09/30/25 to be eligible for the 2025 bonus.
