Strategic Account Manager – Loblaws, Shoppers Drug Mart, McKesson, Pattison
As our Strategic Account Manager – Loblaws, Shoppers Drug Mart, McKesson, Pattison you will be playing a vital role in achieving our exponential growth goals and growing our mission to Kick Sugar, Keep Candy!This role reports to Sales VP, Canada & Ecommerce and will be hybrid in Vancouver, BC or remote in Greater Toronto Area, ON. To support business priorities, core hours are from 9 a.m. PST to 3 p.m. PST.

How You Will Support Our Mission (Responsibilities):
Lead all Account Management initiatives for SmartSweets and Loblaws (all divisions), Shoppers Drug Mart, McKesson (Rexall), and Pattison Food Group (all divisions)
Develop strategic support plans that drive growth and are aligned with retailers’ & SmartSweets goals
Effectively negotiate contracts and trade agreements with a focus on driving strong ROI and sustainable growth
Leverage customer sell-through data to support a fact-based selling approach; focus on understanding key volume drivers and their ROIs
Lead all annual and monthly forecasting and trade investment reviews with a strong understanding of performance drivers, clearly communicating insights to management and developing actionable plans to achieve revenue and trade investment targets
Work with cross-functional partners to meet account performance objectives and customers’ expectations
Proactively assess, clarify, and validate customer needs on an ongoing basis, actioning with a sense of urgency
Demonstrate a deep sense of accountability and drive towards results.
Perform additional duties and take on special projects as assigned to support team objectives and overall business goals.
What You Bring (Qualifications & Experience):
5+ years of CPG sales experience with a proven track record of managing National Accounts; Loblaws experience is preferred
Strong track record of delivering sales results and exceeding targets
Strong analytical and data-driven skills, with proficiency in Nielsen and/or IRI data
Experience using Trade Promotion Management (TPM) software
Experience in the Natural Health Food Industry is an asset
Background in Sales Planning & Strategy role is an asset
Experience leading formal Joint Business Planning (JBP) partnerships an asset
Experience managing distributor and broker relationships an asset
Experience managing a P&L, and an ability to make profitable decisions to achieve both internal and customer objectives mutually
Strong sales and negotiation skills with a history of driving revenue growth
A self-motivated, highly organized, and achievement-oriented attitude and an ability to lead with autonomy
Exceptional communication and storytelling skills with an ability to match the message to the medium and get results

Ability to travel within North America for team and/or customer meetings and tradeshows on a quarterly basis, as needed
Our Hybrid Work Structure: We fully embrace the power of in-person interactions. By actively investing in opportunities for in-person interactions we will grow our mission to Kick Sugar and be the global leader in BFY candy, fuel individual development and strengthen relationships while having fun. Our hybrid work model requires a minimum of two days per week in the office: one designated department day and one flexible day that may vary week to week, per our Fueling Togetherness Philosophy.
Compensation and Sweet Perks (Benefits): The approximate base salary range for this position is $100,000 - $130,000. The actual base salary will be based on various factors, including the candidate’s level of skills, experience and education aligned with the needs of the role, budget and market. This position is eligible for participation in a bonus program based on performance and company results. Please note, individuals must be employed by 09/30/26 to be eligible for the 2026 bonus.
